Jon Wolfe
By K.S. Brooks
That voice… if you’re a fan of traditional country music — or just country music in general, you won’t want to miss Jon Wolfe at FarmJam in the Saturday lineup.
Jon was gracious enough to do a phone interview with us, and just what an absolutely nice guy to chat with. He’s excited to bring his music to Colville and FarmJam this year for the first time. “I’m probably technically considered a Texas artist; we play all over the country, and being shut down from touring the better part of two years, we just love getting out of state and playing shows for country fans. It’s just really refreshing for us to bring our brand of traditional Texas country outside of the state of Texas.”
And Jon and his band have been busy doing just that: He started this leg of his tour off in McKinney, Texas at the end of June and has been playing nearly every night at other venues in Texas, North Dakota, Colorado, Idaho, Utah, California, Nevada, Oregon, and then they land in Colville for FarmJam. The very next week, he makes his debut at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.
“This is a lifelong dream come true for me. When I started out in country music, the Grand Ole Opry has always been the ultimate stage to stand on,” Jon wrote on Instagram.
